Gain experience & money by doing Jobs under the the
Train tab or by the
battling other pets.
Use the money to purchase weapons, armor, and accessories to equip on your pet and make it
stronger for battle.
Use items (under the usable items category) on your pet that restore HP. Some items that
restore HP can also be used during battle as well, but typically are more expensive. You can buy
these items from the
Shop.
Respect Points are the form of currency the the
Battle Master accepts. You can trade Respect Points for
all sorts of bonuses such as full energy, HP, and mood refreshes, exclusive items, and more.
How do I get Respect Points?
You can get more Respect Points by visiting the
Battle Master, scrolling down to the offers area, and selecting
to purchase points directly via credit card or mobile phone or by completing other offers listed. On the iPhone or iPod Touch, you can also get Respect Points
by purchasing premium versions of Epic Pet Wars from the App Store.
Can I just buy Respect Points?
I'm on an iPhone / iPod Touch. How do I use my pets to play on epicpetwars.com?
Link your account to EpicPetWars.com via the button in the Battle Master tab. You'll be asked to specify
a *new* username and password. Afterwards, use a normal web browser and login to EpicPetWars.com.
I'm on an iPhone / iPod Touch. How do I just buy Respect Points?

a *new* username and password. Afterwards, use a normal web browser and login to EpicPetWars.com to visit the
Battle Master and purchase Respect Points directly from us by scrolling down to the area where it says "Buy Respect Points"
I'm on an iPhone / iPod Touch. I first made an account on epicpetwars.com. Can I use the same pets on my device?
Unfortunately no at this time. You cannot reverse-link your account to your iPhone/iPod Touch. You must start off with a pet on the device and then link it
to this website via the Battle Master tab. You can however accomplish this if you initially made your pet on Facebook. Use the facebook connect option when
you launch the app for the first time.
How does mood affect my pet?
Keeping your pet's mood high makes it perform better in battle. Pet it to keep it happy (costs 1 energy). Your
pet becomes more depressed if it loses a battle, runs away from battle, or you ignore it for too long. You can pet
your pet via the button on the
My Pet tab.
What is Cashflow or Item Income (AKA why did I lose money for no reason)?
Maintain positive cashflow by purchasing
Investment Items in the shop (scroll the gray tube bar rightward to find the category) in
order to earn free money every hour! After your early levels 1-5, items begin to have a "negative income" forcing you to purchase investments to counteract
the upkeep. If you have a negative cashflow, money will be taken from you every hour from first your money balance and then your bank balance (if any)
so be careful.
What is a posse? Why do I need one?
A posse is a network of other players that you become friends with to add to your team. You can send mass comments
to your posse for discussion, and having a large posse allows you to do more rewardable jobs and positively
affects your pet in battle in mysterious ways.
How do I get more people in my posse?
You can spread your friend code to others (find your friend code under the
"Add Friends" tab -> Invite via Friend Code), link your
account to Facebook and add friends who already have Epic Pet Wars installed (Facebook version), or you can invite
new friends to Epic Pet Wars via the address book importer (we don't store your contacts info!) in the
"Add Friends" tab. Lastly, a
great way to get more people in your posse is to find some on the
unofficial Epic Pet Wars forums & communities.
What are passive wins / passive losses?
Passive wins and losses are the number of times your pet has won or lost when you're not playing or battling
someone else (since others can still challenge your pet).
Achievements are medals you are awarded when you accomplish a wide variety of things in the game. You can
view all available achievements and their descriptions by looking at the
"Achievements" tab.
Treasure codes are words or phrases you enter into the Treasure Code entry page. Upon entering a valid
code (they expire!), you will be awarded some sort of bonus for the day... whether it be a cool new item or free respect points.
Where can I find Treasure Codes?
We constantly post treasure codes on our twitter (find us at
twitter.com/epicpetwars) and
hide them throughout THIS website. We also sometimes post them in fan forums and other online gaming forums.
What is the Bank? Why is it useful?
The Bank stores your money in a safe place so that it cannot be taken by others fighting your pet and stealing money from it! There is a percent (%) fee for
bank deposits, but withdrawals are free. If you have negative cashflow or income, the bank DOES NOT protect your money. It will be withdrawn from the bank
if your regular money balance cannot cover the upkeep.
WHow do I turn on/off sounds and/or vibration?
You can find the settings for sound/vibration under settings. Just uncheck the box.
How do I recover a deleted pet?
How do I link my iphone/ipod touch to epicpetwars.com?
Link your account to EpicPetWars.com via the button in the Battle Master tab. You'll be asked to specify
a *new* username and password.
What are some Unofficial Epic Pet Wars Communities / Forums / Fansites?
We love all the unofficial fan sites for Epic Pet Wars and are growing this list all the time. Visiting and joining these sites is a great way to
get a larger posse and exchange tips and tricks. If you want yours added, first get a decent amount
of players on it, then contact us.
